Consultations
Consultations are designed to support animals at different stages and with different needs, from short-term concerns to deeper, long-standing patterns.
Each consultation is approached thoughtfully and individually, with care tailored to the whole animal and offered alongside appropriate veterinary support where needed.
The FAQs at the end of this page offer helpful guidance on consultation options, what to expect, and how to prepare.
Initial Consultation
60–75 minutes | $190
Includes a personalised treatment plan
Remedies, supplements, & postage are additional and supplied separately, where appropriate.
The initial or long-term consultation is recommended for animals experiencing chronic, recurring, or complex concerns, or where there is a longer health, emotional, or environmental history to consider.
This consultation allows time to explore your animal’s full story, including health history, patterns over time, stressors, environment, diet, and overall vitality. The focus is on understanding the whole picture, rather than addressing symptoms in isolation.
Following the consultation, a personalised treatment plan is prepared to guide ongoing support in a gentle, considered way.
This appointment forms the foundation for longer-term care where needed.
Best suited to:
– ongoing or recurring health concerns
– chronic skin, digestive, immune, or behavioural patterns
– complex or layered presentations
– animals who have “never quite been right”
Acute Consultation
25 minutes | $80
Includes one custom homeopathic blend. Extra remedies, supplements & postage are additional, where appropriate.
Acute consultations are designed for recent, short-term, or situational concerns where focused support is appropriate. They’re best suited to issues that are clearly defined and not part of a long-standing or recurring pattern.
These sessions are ideal for guidance on homeopathic remedies and gentle supportive care during acute illness or injury, upcoming procedures, or when you need clarity around using remedies at home.
The consultation allows time to understand what has changed for your animal, assess the current situation, and offer targeted homeopathic support. Where appropriate, a custom remedy or blend is prepared and sent following the consultation.
If it becomes clear during the session that the concern reflects a deeper or ongoing pattern, this will always be discussed gently and transparently, with guidance on whether a longer consultation may be more supportive.
Best suited to:
– recent changes or upsets
– minor injuries or recovery support
– short-term stress or emotional shocks
– clearly defined one-off concerns
Follow-Up Consultation
30–45 minutes | $90
Includes an updated treatment plan
Remedies, supplements, & postage are additional and supplied separately, where appropriate.
Follow-up consultations are available for animals who have already completed an initial consultation and are under ongoing care.
These sessions provide an opportunity to review how remedies and supports are being received, observe changes over time, and adjust the approach as needed. Updates to the treatment plan are provided to ensure care remains appropriate and responsive to your animal’s individual process.
Regular follow-ups support continuity, clarity, and gentle progression, rather than a one-off or reactive approach.
Best suited to:
– reviewing progress
– adjusting remedies or dosing
– responding to changes or new layers
– ongoing support and guidance
Homeoprophylaxis Consultation & Schedule
60 minutes | $360
Includes a dedicated homeoprophylaxis consultation
An individualised homeoprophylaxis schedule
Six base homeopathic remedies. Extra remedies, supplements & postage are additional, where appropriate.
A supporting e-guide to ensure informed and responsible use, including guidance for managing homeoprophylaxis through all ages and stages of life
Homeoprophylaxis consultations are offered for guardians seeking an individualised, homeopathic approach to supporting their animal’s overall resilience and wellbeing, in relation to infectious or communicable diseases commonly addressed within standard veterinary vaccination schedules.
This service includes a dedicated consultation to understand your animal’s health history, environment, lifestyle, and current support needs, followed by the development of a customised homeoprophylaxis schedule. Programs are developed on a case-by-case basis and are not offered as a one-size-fits-all approach.
Worming and tick support protocols sit outside of this program, but can be discussed separately as part of a broader, holistic care approach if desired.
For pregnancy and whole-litter support, as well as multi-animal households, kennels, or catteries, customised programs are available. These are designed to account for shared environments while still respecting individual needs. Please contact support@thepetremedyco.org to discuss your situation so an appropriate support plan can be prepared.
