Terms & Scope of Services
Purpose & Scope
The remedies, complementary products, consultations, and educational resources provided by The Pet Remedy Co are intended to support general wellbeing, resilience, and natural care for animal companions. Our offerings are designed to work alongside thoughtful veterinary care and do not replace professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
The Pet Remedy Co does not diagnose disease, prescribe veterinary medicines, or make claims to treat, cure, or prevent specific medical conditions.
Relationship to Veterinary Care
The information, products, and services provided by The Pet Remedy Co are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Guardians are encouraged to consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis, medical treatment, or where symptoms are severe, persistent, or concerning.
In emergency situations, immediate veterinary attention should always be sought.
Product Classification & Regulatory Positioning
Remedies and complementary products offered by The Pet Remedy Co are classified as complementary animal wellness products. They are not scheduled veterinary medicines and do not make therapeutic, diagnostic, or disease-related claims.
The Pet Remedy Co operates in accordance with applicable Australian regulatory frameworks, including TGA and APVMA guidance, by offering products and education within a general wellness and complementary care context.
Consultations & Remedy Purchases
Some remedies and support products offered by The Pet Remedy Co are available for purchase without a one-on-one consultation and are intended for general wellness, first aid, or educational use.
Certain offerings do require a consultation or educational component due to their scope or intended use. These may include, but are not limited to:
Homeoprophylaxis programs
First Aid Kits (which include access to an educational video consultation)
Transition or life-stage support programs (when available)
Where a consultation or educational component is required, this will be clearly indicated at the point of purchase.
Personalised remedy selection, treatment plans, and individualised support are provided through consultation where appropriate, to ensure care is tailored to the specific animal and situation.
By purchasing remedies or products without a consultation, you acknowledge that these offerings are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace veterinary care, and that responsibility for informed and appropriate use remains with you as the guardian.
Please also refer to our Disclaimer for additional information regarding the scope and nature of our services.
Educational Nature of Information
Any information provided via this website, consultations, written materials, videos, or workshops is intended for educational purposes only. It should not be interpreted as veterinary or medical advice.
Guardians are encouraged to use this information to support informed decision-making, in conjunction with professional veterinary guidance where appropriate.
Chronic & Ongoing Support
Where capacity allows, The Pet Remedy Co offers consultations to support animals with ongoing or long-standing patterns of imbalance, always within a complementary and educational framework. These services are designed to support overall wellbeing and resilience and do not replace veterinary care or medical management.
Refunds, Cancellations & Returns
Consultations
Consultation fees reflect time reserved, preparation, and professional expertise. For this reason, consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Where sufficient notice is given, rescheduling may be offered at our discretion.
Missed appointments or late cancellations may not be refunded.
Personalised Remedies & Treatment Plans
Remedies and treatment plans that are prepared specifically for your animal are customised and made to order. Due to their personalised nature, these items are not eligible for refund or exchange once prepared or dispatched.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law in the unlikely event that a product is faulty or not as described.
Non-Personalised Products & Educational Kits
General wellness products, first aid kits, or educational materials that are not personalised may be eligible for a refund prior to dispatch, at the discretion of The Pet Remedy Co.
Once dispatched or accessed (including digital content or video recordings), these items are generally non-refundable.
Educational Content & Recordings
Access to educational videos, recordings, or digital resources is non-refundable once access has been provided, as these materials are delivered immediately and cannot be returned.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item that is damaged in transit or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt, including photos and details. We will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or refund where appropriate.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
